San Antonio real estate brokerage Keller Williams Heritage will be hosting their 6th annual Margarita Madness event on Thursday, May 31, 2018. A “Margarita Pour-Off” of sorts, the event, sponsored by Keller Williams alongside 40 partner providers, will benefit KW’s in-house charity, Agents Helping Agents (AHA), along with cancer research.
Since the inaugural event five years ago, attendance has risen to over 500 attendees, with over $250,000 dollars raised, all of which was given back in the form of grants to agents in need.
Throughout the event, raffle tickets for various prizes, including a Samsung 55” LCD/LED Smart TV, weekend golf trip to Arizona, and stocked Yeti coolers will be available for purchase. Raffle tickets sell for $5 each, or $20 for five. Additionally, a silent auction will offer items for attendees to bid on.
Says Mitch Porter, President of AHA and 2018’s Margarita Madness chairman, “We strongly feel that serving others is one of the most important things we can do. This event is another way to not only serve each other but to raise awareness for our organization (AHA), which means so much to all of us." Last year an estimated 500 people came to the event, with this year’s attendance expected to exceed 600.
Tickets for the event, beginning at 5 pm and ending at 9 pm, are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, children under 12 are free. All attendees will receive a wristband giving them access to unlimited margarita tasting, BBQ, entertainment provided by the Brett Mullins Band, and refreshments.
Not just an event for KW Heritage agents and staff, San Antonio and surrounding community members are invited to purchase tickets for the event, which will be held in the Keller Williams Heritage Office parking lot, located off Loop 1604 and Bitters Road.
