Real Estate Industry Leader Lisa Nuttall Munoz Appointed Broker-of-Record for Keller Williams Herit

Keller Williams Heritage recently announced the appointment of Lisa Nuttall Munoz, a longtime leader of the brokerage, as its Broker-of-Record. A trailblazer in the industry, KW Heritage is the largest residential real estate brokerage in the Keller Williams network. This office is renowned for its record of professionalism, high-achieving Realtors, and well-regarded culture— a record that Munoz helped cultivate in her previous role as Vice President of Sales, coaching and consulting many of San Antonio’s top agents.

“Selling homes is only the beginning. Our most important and lasting impact will be through the opportunities we create for associates, providing leadership and encouraging our people to explore possibilities to enrich themselves and others. And that’s where Lisa shines.” -Craig Owen, President

In her role as Broker, Munoz will serve as a real estate expert for these agents, who represent clients from San Antonio and the surrounding areas. The local brokerage is a recognized leader in the industry, having set new standards for lawyer-reviewed contracts, expecting new Realtors to complete a proprietary 6-week training program, and providing all associates with the latest technology and marketing tools to serve their clients at the highest level.

“It is my privilege to accept this position. Heritage has a long commitment to excellence, and I’ve always considered it ‘home’. I’m honored to continue working with the entire KW Heritage family as they pursue their careers, businesses, and create new opportunities for themselves and their families.” -Lisa Munoz

Most recently, Munoz was named the 2019 Manager of the Year for Platinum Top 50 though her track record of success began decades earlier in the field of corporate finance. When she realized her skillset (finances, negotiation, etc) and her passion to work with people transitioned seamlessly to real estate, Munoz obtained her real estate license in 2001. Attaining her broker’s license in 2012 Munoz stepped into a leadership role at KW Heritage as Team Leader. She has now marketed and closed over 100 million dollars’ worth of transactions and has been a top producer and member of both the KW Heritage Associate Leadership Council and the current brokerage leadership team. She has managed and trained thousands of Realtors in the subjects of transaction negotiating, marketing, business planning, social media, and other areas in the real estate industry and market. She is also an accredited Texas Real Estate Commission instructor and teaches contracts, Broker Responsibility, and Legal Update courses regularly at local real estate schools.

Because of her tenure as well as her reputation for hard work, service, and perfectionism, Munoz is the perfect choice for this role and is enjoying wide support from her colleagues. With this promotion, Munoz will immediately become Broker for not only the largest office in the KW Franchise with over 1,000 Realtors but also one of the largest regional brokerages in the US. While San Antonio is home to a long legacy of women in leadership, Kim Bridgforth, Director of Operations, adds that, “On a more personal level, it’s incredible to see one of my role models leading at this level in the industry, especially one who contributes so much to empower other women.”

Though she calls San Antonio home and graduated from Roosevelt High School, Lisa also spent part of her childhood in Japan, Thailand, and other countries as the daughter of an Army officer. Lisa holds a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas, El Paso. She has two sons, Matthew (a local attorney who attended Texas State University and St. Mary’s University School of Law) and Luke, who graduated from Texas A&M University and is currently an MBA candidate at the University of the Incarnate Word. Her daughter-in-law, Taylor Breshears Munoz, is a 4th-grade teacher for NEISD. Lisa enjoys traveling and dancing with her partner, Nick Rinaldi.
