The 10 Best SA Airbnb Rentals for Final Four Weekend

In case you’ve been hiding under some kind of rock lately (which, post-holidays, we totally understand), you’ve probably heard about the mega intersection of college basketball and San Antonio culture: the 2018 Final Four NCAA Tournament.

After the calorie overload and bank account underload of the holidays, college basketball gives America the chance to leave real-world troubles behind and dive into a fantastical land of brackets and dream teams (and the chance to win a little cash!).

For some, it might even be the chance to take a vacation. Whether you have one of those coveted tickets or not, the Final Four tournament offers everyone the chance to be a part of the festivities. From entertainment and music festivals to community work and the chance to volunteer, March 31- April 2 will be an incredible time to be in San Antonio.

But, as we all know, all good trips require good planning...the crux of which is the question, “Where will you we stay?” The answer often determines your comfort level, ease of travel, itinerary, and far more. From the location to the amenities to the price, your choice of accommodation will often determine the overall feel of your trip.

So how do you choose the right one?

Rather than a cookie-cutter hotel room, many modern vacationers are opting for a more tailored (and private!) set of locations, sizes, and amenities through homestay sites like Airbnb and VRBO. Staying in the neighborhood of your choice allows you to get to know the city from a different angle, offsetting your chance to discover hidden gems along with popular attractions.

But how do you choose the right home close to the Alamodome? Thankfully, we’ve got your back. Below, we’ve compiled a list of homes in various neighborhoods within a 15-minute drive of the Alamodome (several even within walking distance!).
