Upon retirement, he served in the financial and aerospace industries before becoming Director of Military Programs for the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, a position he held until returning to Texas. He also has been elected National Secretary of the Air Force Association and has served on numerous non-profit boards and foundations.
