One of the greatest benefits of living in San Antonio is the variety of “things” to see and do. In fact, there are so many San Antonio attractions and events on any given weekend that it can seem overwhelming to choose just one. In this series all pressure is off! Ten fun things to do in San Antonio will be chosen each week to make researching for the next Friday celebration, date night, or family outing a little more simple.
- 1. Get Gleeful
The San Antonio Choral Society is sponsoring a “gleeful” event this Sunday! Known as one of the top collegiate choral groups, the Yale Glee Club has been a long-standing tradition since 1863 and is making an appearance in San Antonio. The club is currently touring in the South, but they are only making one appearance in San Antonio! It’s not every day that San Antonio turns Ivy League; so take advantage of this opportunity by purchasing a ticket and attending the event! After the concert, there will be a reception where you may meet and greet the singers of the glee club.
When: March 13 @ 6PM

They are obviously famous for their pancakes; however, the lemon poppyseed waffle (complete with homemade syrup) is to die for. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at this place. They don’t take call ahead’s or reservations, so rise and shine and be the early birds this Saturday to avoid long lines and wait time!

You’ll love the beautiful architecture of the building and the stained glass windows that surround you as people walk up to the bar and grab a cocktail. The bar just had its opening last Friday, so try it out this weekend while it’s still a “secret” spot. Stroll up to the choir loft and look at the lower level as people talk, dance, and enjoy the finely crafted cocktails that St. Francis has to offer. It really is a unique spot that promises to entertain any visitor.
