One of San Antonio’s greatest upsides is the variety of “things” to see and do at any given time. This weekend is no exception as a variety of different events take place in and around the city. No effort is needed, ten of the best fun things to do in San Antonio this weekend are already described below. Hopefully this list will make researching for this weekend’s celebration, date night, or family outing a little more simple.
1. Run the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon
Hoping to stay active this weekend? The San Antonio Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon will help keep you on track! The event began as an innovative and fun way to re-design a traditional marathon. Organizers came up with the idea to post live bands along each mile to provide runners with live music throughout the race. The event continues to this day and this weekend provides both a live concert and a running tour through San Antonio! As an added bonus, runners are granted admission to the post-race concert. This year the headliner is Third Eye Blind! Come on down and run, or just listen to bands along the route, either way the race is sure to rock.
