The Heights of Cibolo is a residential neighborhood northeast of the city of San Antonio. Located south of I-35 off of FM 1103 in Cibolo, this neighborhood features homes that were built as early as 1959, with some built as soon as 2013. A San Antonio suburb, Cibolo is a small town that sits between the big city of San Antonio, and the small river town of New Braunfels, a Texas Hill Country gem. Due to its location near Rolling Oaks Mall, the Forum at Olympia Parkway, Northeast Methodist Hospital and HEB, residents of The Heights of Cibolo have an abundance of shopping, dining, and medical amenities nearby. Furthermore, this neighborhood is a short distance to popular recreational spots like Retama Park horse track and the Snake Farm Zoo as well as major military installation, Randolph Air Force Base. The Heights of Cibolo presents new construction homes that run between $190,000 and $300,000. Aside from its handsome housing stock, residents of the neighborhood enjoy a community recreation center that features a playground, pavilion, pool, and extensive outdoor space. A short drive from the community is Warbler Woods Bird Sanctuary, and three city parks: Pickrell Park, Cut Off Park, and Thulemeyer Park. Students who live in The Heights of Cibolo are zoned within the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District, and will likely attend Schlather Elementary, Dobie Junior High, and Steele High schools.
