STONERIDGE

Stoneridge is a residential neighborhood in northern San Antonio. Located off of Wurzbach Pkwy and Wetmore Rd, Stoneridge is situated north of Loop 410 and south of Loop 1604, in between Highway 281 and Interstate 35. With close proximity to Highway 281, Stoneridge is conveniently only a short jaunt to the San Antonio airport. Houses in this Stoneridge are, on average, 1,236 square feet and are priced at around $90,000. A collection of single-family homes built in the mid 1990’s, Stoneridge presents a composition of both homeowners and renters. Within the neighborhood is a community pool, clubhouse, basketball and tennis courts, however, residents seeking more outdoor amenities enjoy the adjacent 984 acred McAllister Park. The park, which boasts pavilions, a dog park, and a fitness station, is also home to 24 baseball fields (which have vetted state champs and little league world series contenders, McAllister Park Little League), 22 soccer/rugby fields, 6 multi-purpose fields, and 15 miles of trails (both hard and soft). Students who live in Stoneridge are zoned for North East Independent School District and will likely attend Wetmore Elementary, Driscoll Middle, and Macarthur High schools.
